Wanderer
The 14 foot Wanderer was designed by Ian Proctor for Margaret Dye, doyen of all small boat cruisers. One of the main objectives of the design was to produce a robust, safe and versatile dinghy that could be used for knockabout day sailing and cruising as well as racing, but it was light enough to be handled ashore.
A relatively light boat which makes trailing and launching/recovery easy, the Wanderer is also popular with sailing clubs / schools, Scout groups and local authorities for sail training purposes.
The club has two Wanderers for members to use.
