Silver Wing Sailing Club is a lake side venue, with stunning sun-sets across the lake and as such we have many requests for venue hire.

The club house consists of a fully licensed bar, indoor catering area and outdoor patio with BBQ, along with changing room and shower facilities. All of our facilities can be booked for private hire for any functions.

We have also become experts in running sailing events, for many years running both the Enterprise and Wanderer National training days - so if you're a class association, looking for the perfect place to run your fun/training/open day, or even a shop looking to demo products - please get in touch via the contact page.

We can also upon special arrangement provide corporate fun days, in either sailing, (or dragon boating with arrangements from our in-house dragon boat team - BA Hurricanes), please contact us for further information.

However all that said private venue hire is still our most popular type of rental and in the winter we can offer venue hire on any evening subject to availability. In the summer we are unable to offer venue hire on Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Pricing is subject to change depending on exact requirements, but club-house rental for a typical evening is £150 for a non-member - this includes a volunteer who will be around all evening to unlock, help behind the bar, help set-up, help tidy-up and lock-up at the end of of the day, and honorary membership for the evening for you and your guests.

For an extra £40 you can hire the PA equipment, which can play a continuous loop of your favourite CDs or most computer audio formats(MP3/WMA).
