Dear Forum User,
It is with a heavy heart that I have to close for now the Silver Wing Sailing Club forums.
The abuse of this service has been appalling, with multiple adverts for pornography / spam / software etc being posted by
human users faster than we can moderate it.
This is quite concerning, as stopping an automated signup is an easy process,
however stopping a legitimate human from visiting the site and posting can prove to be a challenge. I am currently in the process of
developing some new forum software, with a better understanding of promoting and protecting family values. When I have this sorted you will
see a discussion forum up and running in this space once again.
